We have a long and rich history of giving back at Jewelers Mutual. Through the Jewelers Mutual impact fund, we support the jewelry industry and our local communities through various initiatives and impact investments, in which we look for opportunities that allow us to innovate and grow while strengthening our commitment to our customers.

 

Strengthening the jewelry industry

We invest millions into  jewelry industry organizations and initiatives annually, with the goal of supporting the growth of jewelry businesses.

Our jewelry business customers receive complimentary membership to the Jewelers’ Security Alliance or Jewellers Vigilance Canada, both of which provide access to online training and resources focused on loss prevention, safety, and security.

Paid volunteer time

Every team member receives paid hours to volunteer. Examples of organizations we’ve volunteered with:

Scholarships

We offer scholarships to help the children of our employees pursue their educational dreams.

Board & committee service

Our leadership team actively serves on various boards and committees, supporting industry and community organizations such as:

  • Jewelers’ Security Alliance
  • YMCA Fox Valley  (And others.)
Matching donations & collection drives

We match employee donations 50% to eligible nonprofits nationwide and host drives for local organizations. Departments also organize their own charitable initiatives, such as food and coat drives. Among the organizations we’ve supported are:

  • Neenah Animal Shelter
  • Boys & Girls Club of Fox Valley
  • Toys for Tots Dallas & Fox Valley
  • Saving Paws Animal Rescue
  • Children’s Wisconsin

Request community support 

We support nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations  in the Fox Valley (WI), Dallas (TX), Miami (FL), and Raleigh (NC) communities, as well as nationwide giving opportunities.

All funding requests must be submitted through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region’s online application system, regardless of location.

  • Application Deadlines: March 1, June 1, September 1, December 1 (by 11:59 pm Central Time)
  • Funding Decisions: Made quarterly
  • Annual Request Limit: One request per organization

 

What We Don’t Fund:

  • Events (preference for programs or projects)
  • Requests benefiting specific individuals
  • Fundraisers (except through employee gift-matching)
  • Political causes or organizations
  • Individual schools, churches, or religious organizations
  • Fraternal organizations
